Does your tummy ache? Haven't pooped in a while? Do you have a thing for eating your own hair? Well my friend, don't fret. You may just have a 4lbs ball of hair wedged in between your stomach and large intestine. No Biggy...

It's hard to stomach, but a 19-year-old girl in Indore, India, has a weird taste in snack foods -- and it finally came back to haunt her.

The girl went to Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital in Indore last month, complaining she hadn't been able to eat or drink for a few days.

Upon examination, doctors discovered a hair ball weighting nearly four pounds stuck between her stomach and small intestine, the New York Daily News reported.

Turns out the girl had a bad habit of eating her hair and chalk while in class, and the combination ended up stuffing her insides to the gills.

    re: hair.. EWWWWWW

re: chalk... I've heard of this before. Wikipedia to the rescue!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pica_%28disorder%29

Pica (play /ˈpaɪkə/ PY-kə) is characterized by an appetite for substances largely non-nutritive, such as clay, chalk, dirt, or sand.[1] For these actions to be considered pica, they must persist for more than one month at an age where eating such objects is considered developmentally inappropriate. There are different variations of pica, as it can be from a cultural tradition, acquired taste or a neurological mechanism such as an iron deficiency, or chemical imbalance.
