Iphone owners, please recommend a mounting system

Hi Gang,

I purchased a dash mount that, given the width of the Tig's dash, isn't going to work so I am looking for some recommendations.

I use the TomTom app on my iphone quite a bit.

Can anyone recommend a mount that works well (windshield, vent, etc.)?

just went through this last week for my 5. I bought this: http://www.dexim.net/us/products/car/DCU086.html

for $15 from my local shop. I removed the suction cup and epoxied in an thin angle bracket I had lying around the house. It now mounts in the credit card holder on the dash and clears all the radio buttons, and can pick up a GPS signal.

Right! and those Apple maps are stellar. I purchased software back in the 3GS days and it has carried forward to my new phone.

Stay away from Clingo mounts that have the sticky gel. Despite the manufacturer's claim that they don't leave a residue, in time they will.
The gel eventually became a mess. Communication with Clingo went no where.

I like my Mountek CD slot mount. I only really use it for datalogging and digital gauges with Torque, but it holds the thing pretty steady and I never use the CD slot anyway...
