well, $69.99. And they did NOT come with screws (mine are rusty!) So I will need to pick up some new ones. I will post a shot before/after once I install them.

After much searching I found EISParts.com (http://www.eisparts.com/ who have (in stock) what appears to be Russian (?) tail lights. I have not installed them yet, but they appear to be as good a quality as the OEM part.
They are shipped very securely:
And individually:
And a final front back shot of the actual product:
You can either search "Caddy" form the home page, or use these links to check out the left/right product page. As of this post, I paid $69ea + shipping, which I don't think is unreasonable.

dont complain about screws
you can go to the hardware store and pick up some stainless screws which will outlast your caddy.
on my 81 all the side markers have new replaced stainless screw matched to factory style.

Interesting that they're Klockerholm, but have the VW Audi markings on them.

calling it NOS or Elaborate replica, Todd?
didnt the OEM ones have Hella on the outside plastic lens?
#8
I'm guessing replica, although my OE tails aren't marked Hella. My tails are also the older style without the metal screw bushings. The linked description doesn't claim that they're OE, but just mentions that the VAG logo is present....
I don't believe Klockerholm is an OEM supplier, as I've gotten their sheetmetal and there aren't any VAG stamps on that stuff. West Coast Metric got sued (and lost) in the '90s for doing the same type of thing.
GAP claims to be selling OE tails for $87 per side. I'm curious if their's are truely OE.
I'm still waiting to see how they fit. I've got an extra set of OEs, but I may just grab a set.

Here they are on the truck;
I think they look great, and fit perfect. Oddly, my right side that I replaced was the exact same knock off as this!
