EMS stinger standaloen ecu

Good day Fella's,

I would like to know if anyone has any first hand experience using an EMS 4424 V4 stinger ecu.

I would like to know your results and woes if you have encountered any.


I am planning on purchasing one of those said ecu's as I am not able to get a direct plug and play option for my AGU 1.8T golf gti.

I have been searching hi and low and far and wide and have not been able to come up with anything except this.

I have spoken to Kevin on a few different occasions but it's not cost effective for me to purchase an ecu from him as it would be costing me almost double in the end to do what I want on my car.

My ecu is a 3.8.3 ecu which is not flashable via the port and no one really offered a BT chip for it unless I am going wideband.

That would involve me importing quite a few things to have that done and in the end it just makes sense for me to go stand alone and use the stand alone to control timing, fuel and eliminate my maf.

Any information would be greatly appreciated and if there is none to give I will make a detailed documentation for whom would like to have this done. Once I receive my ecu that is.
