follow the same steps for a t-belt job. bumper and radiator support need to come out. thats the easiest way IMO.
also, is it a stock rebuild, mild or bt?
could be a dirty throttle body, try aligning it as well.

Yup, fresh rebuild, wire got sucked into the fan and grenades it, then the shard shot through my radiator. How much of a pain in the ass is it to replace? About how long, I'm getting it home tonight and tearing it apart, then getting parts tomorrow.
I'm also having cold startup problems, it seems like when it's cold, the car will idle for a while, then randomly start to die, then pick back up, then start to die, then pick back up.
I got 99 problems, and my b5 be all of em.

It's a mild rebuild, it has upgraded eagle rods, bored .020 over with oem pistons.
And I cleaned the tb and realigned it when I put it all together with a vag com.

I'm not sure, I have pvp tame boost in it so it cleans out the fuel system from sitting too long, and it seems like it falls on its face in third fourth and fifth.

And I learned that if you loosen the front bumper quite a bit, and undo the top mounts for the radiator, undo the hoses, you can pull it out if you pull the driver side out first, and then the passenger side, you don't have to remove the whole front clip, just headlights and loosen front bumper. Much easier, I did the while swap in a bout 2 hours with tear down and installation.
