Hey all! Up for grabs is a OEM Porsche F1 steering wheel and airbag in Black. I have used this steering wheel in my MK4 GLI for the past year or so. I have removed all of the internal electronics and made custom switches that I have installed inside the steering wheel that operate with the use of the paddles. I used them to control the up and down function with my air management setup via the stock clock spring and a few relays (rendering the horn and airbag inop). Unfortunately the right side paddle switch had failed and will need to be repaired/replaced which is a pain because you will have to remove the face of the steering wheel and that isnt easy. I believe that the plastic spacer that I glued to the button of the switch has fallen off. I have only fitted this steering wheel to my vehicle, so Im just assuming it'll fit all MK4 Jettas and Golfs...possibly others too. Splines match up and it slides right on. Externally the steering wheel appears to be in great condition. There is a small surface blemish in the airbag (see the picture). Sorry some of the pictures are not the greatest. Ive also posted a video of the left paddle shifter in operation. Id like to get $1000.00 for the steering wheel, airbag, and fastening bolt. Online, unmodified steering wheels sell for $800-1500 and thats not including the airbag. If need be I will consider fixing the right side switch before the sale. This is a rare find and I hope to pass it on to someone who will put it to use. I will also be selling the car and the rest of my air management/bags very soon so if you're interested, be on the lookout. Thanks for checking out the thread!

Bump for a really cool piece. I've seen it in person and it's really neat. This should also be able to fit most all VWs and Audis starting in the early 2000s I believe.
