I have about 1000 miles on my new motor and for maybe the last 150 or so miles when I start it up it makes that noise.. then goes away once I start driving.. if I go into the store and come back out in an hour it doesn't show up. When I come back out from work after 8 hours it will start to make that sound again than go away... as you can see in the video it starts to go away after a few minutes.. the video is chopped so like 3-4 minutes it goes away. I'm wondering what the issue is. its just coming up on 1000 miles now so this weekend I'm going to drain the oil

You sure your belt isn't too tight (presuming you're on the manual tensioner)?

Mine does the same thing. IE tensioner, modified cat cam gear and stock belt. I'll have to check my tension as well. I believe went a tad tight rather than lose just to be safe.
