Ok guys i am getting back to the car with standalone finally. My question is why isnt my laptop able to connect to MS1. Here is what happened did a motor swap and the very first turn of the key she fired right up and sounded AWESOME with just the header from there i allowed it to run for a fe minutes then shut it off to tidy up some wiring. Upon this i had the key turned to the accessory position and ended up grounding out one of the tps wires. I then could not fire up the car or connect to the laptop. I deleted the megatune and reloaded the firmware again to eliminate glitches with that. I checked for voltage at the power wire to my coil from the ms box and got 5.9v so i checked the distibutor plug at the dist and got 5.9v there as well. I am a newbie at this but it would seem to me there is power to the MS but i am not getting spark nor fuel. I did pull the MS box and opened it up and the board looked fine. I am stumpped! Anyone have ideas or know of anyone who knows MS? Or where to start eliminating? Thanks!
