I don't know why getting photos are so important. I have had 1 photo taken in all of the years I have been going to H2O. But then again, most "photographers" (and I'm using the term as loosely as I can) only take photos of certain types of cars. Of all of the photos taken, most were on air with expensive wheels. So kids, make sure you dump about $4k into your suspension and another $3k into your wheels if you want a photo. Also, lots of air fresheners and stickers wouldn't hurt.

Lol then the question comes to define Euro... Euro manufactures, Car designed in Europe, Car built in Europe, ect

only reason I say that is cause to a point you then have people like me whole like to believe their car is euro because it was designed by Ford of Europe and was originally sold there before being brought here. So like Newer VW's, my car was designed in Europe but built elsewhere.

I agree with these guys, my vdub love runs deep, my dad got me started, I can remember being 5 years old hanging in the garage with him while he worked on vws. My group of friends and I have been going to h20i for years. This year was definitely more imports but I was cool with that. My bf built 2 cars that were picked to be in the top dawg comp a few years ago( silver rabbit pick up-my brother's and a jeep green corrado- Bill's) My bf has a ratted out Mk1 rabbit and I have a mk3 turbs golf, this year we decided to switch it up and ride down in the mk3 supra, our friends rabbit wasn't finished in time so he drove down his red Datson and our buddy just finished his accord a few days prior to the show. Everyone may be hating or loving the imports. When it comes to cars love is love. The biggest thing I believe no matter what car they drove, respect other peoples property and just don't be stupid! Saw tons of people getting in trouble for just plain common sense things. I'm not trying to argue with anyone and not trying to sound rude by any means, I can understand how some guys want it to be a vag only show, but in a way I see it as more the merrier as long as everyone can play nice.I thought all in all a great show, met some many new awesome people and the weather was amazing!

What are you talking about, i have owned 8 highly modifiedVWs and right now i own a Nissan Xterra and no VW, so in your logic i am no longer a VW guy. I know that seemed generalized and i understand that some people are in their 2nd or 3rd names like myself.

Did not mean that as an attack of any sort to people who have been around awhile or even those who have only been around for a short time yet dont suck.

My point was that most of the people complaining joined here in 2010-2012 and are most likely sub 20 years old and have only recently started attending these shows yet feel like they can make decisions on what should and should not happen and how people should or should not act.

This has been what bothers me most in these threads this year. Kids who have been to H2O like once or twice before posting in here as if they know the solutions and what H2O should be (they don't, ever).

Threads like this make me happy me and Eric started the outcasts meet a few years ago. Its a public event and the actual show is still all VAG. Getting upset about there being non VAG cars in OCMD that weekend is like getting upset that the hotrod guys were rolling around on Sunday and Monday. You don't have to goto the outcasts meet and if you want there to be bigger VAG meets then organize them.

Get over it ladies and gentlemen.

PS: I've been going to H20 for six years with NON VAG cars. It doesn't matter what you drive - if you act like a pile of **** then OC PD will pull you over.

photographer at h2oi.. usually is a kid who's parent's bought them a camera, which in there mind makes them the "illest" professional photographer ever!!!
