Does anyone have any recommendations for an evaporator?

All the other HVAC components I've removed are Valeo but there is no marking on the evaporator. I haven't been able to find a Valeo evaporator for a 99 Jetta III online. Doesn't look like they make one. I'd like to stick in a quality evaporator since it took quite a bit of time to rip my entire dash apart.

Most I see for sale don't list the manufacturer. If you call GAP, they'll probably tell you who is supplying their current stock. They may even have a few to choose from if you're really concerned:

    GAP: http://www.germanautoparts.com/Volks...f/Climate/82/2

PartsGeek has one cheaper, but I don't know "Nissens" from Nissan, so can't vouch for it's quality.

This is what German Autoparts had to say:
"This will be either Nissens (made in Denmark) or CRP (made by various OE European suppliers). The quality of both is excellent."

    Bought a Nissens evaporator.

    Haven't hooked it up yet.

I want to do a leak test on it before I put it in.
