ok i have always wondered what the difference between an S... and an RS... is the S model a base performance and trim pack and the RS is the full deal?

like lets say a B7 S-4 and B7 RS-4, the RS-4 will be better tuned, better racing seats, better body kit?

sorry for the bad comparrison but is it like a WRX and a WRX STI? the STI is gonne be the hardcore real deal performance car

You pretty much have it. At Audi it goes like this...

S-line = trim package with nearly S-spec interior, S-car looks but normal engines

    S-car = high performance, S-spec bumpers, S-spec interiors

RS-car = highest performance, RS-spec interior (Recaros optional, better leathers, wider weave carbon fiber, etc.), RS-spec bumpers, RS-spec flared fenders, etc.
