Sup guys! Well, I plan on buying a set of CCW classics but they're reverse mounted, I was wondering if anybody knows if they can be brought back to top mount. The guy I'm buying it from had it custom built to be reverse mounted and if I were to top mount it. Would it add at least 10-15 mm? He says that he had the faces cut like how BBS LM's get reverse mounted. The current reversed mount wheel specs is 18x8(f)et 25, 18x9(r)et 19

Here's a link to the wheels:

I don't know much about wheels but i'd rock them just the way they are. they look nice.

The answer is yes you can bring them back to regular mounting. All you have to do is take the wheels completely apart and stack the face on top of the lip and bolt them together instead of on the bottom...because if you look at them right now the faces are bolted together on the bottom of the lip in between the rear barrel and lip.

I don't see why you couldn't...everything should be the same diameter its just a matter of stacking them up differently.

I hoping that bringing it to the a top mount that it would add about 10 of positive offset because i'm hoping to run about et 35 but i'm just scared the rear will be et 29

tell the guy to measure the thickness for you. then u can know if offset is useable.

    cant tell by pics anyways.

Would it be weird to run a higher offset in the front and have a wider and lower offset in the rear?

Without seeing the mounted side of the face... it cannot be confirmed. Some wheels are built differently and since he states that he had these custom cut to fit as a reserve mount... it is possible that you may not be able to do it, or you may be able to send the faces back to ccw to be cut again to mount the typical way ccw's are mounted.

I would assume that the difference in offset would be between 10-15mm.

He said that they're cut like how LM's are cut so they should be able to be top mounted. So I'm assuming they can be but I wanted to check with you guys but I'll have my friend come check them out with me to see if they would work.

No. They cannot be face mounted. The centers were cut to be reverse mounted. He didn't have them "custom" cut. We offer Classics face mounted or reverse mounted. The machining process is completely different as the centers registers are cut differently.
