Normal in EU. Becurse you can order MFA for every Engine if you want. From 60PS to 190PS.

one thing i noticed. the car is obviously loaded but it doesn't have cruise. interesting.

It has cruise its just on the opposite side of the steering wheel.

i buyed this car in germany,

airbag on leather and dsp nokia, these options are only from german

in france a mk3 with all options doesn't exist

Its interesting that the German market cars came with those leather seats ( side airbags and taller back) in 1997, NA cars didn't get that design until the 3.5 cabrios.

Sideairbags was an optional extra on last Years 97.

I unfortunately do not know, I can only speak for Germany. But I think for the whole of europe. since most mk3 for the European market built on the same site.

There is no telling how much someone would pay for this car in the USA. We can't get options like those here! I guess it would all depend on how much the right fanatic would pay!

I see you have side airbags as well.. interesting.. my 1999 GTI GLX VR6 doesn't have them.

That is interesting that you don't have cruise control since your car is fully loaded! I wouldn't care to much about it though, you aren't missing much... the cruise control was an afterthought for the US market and it sucks.

what do you mean anyway? Highlines had smooth / color matched bumper tops and side moldings like NA cars.
