I didn't get out much, but I saw a couple cool custom bikes riding around here and there. I'd really like to see some more shots of the bikes that were out there. Wouldn't mind seeing if anyone caught a few shots of my bike the one time I took it out Saturday. Maybe we can get some sort of discussion going, because lets face it, the VW scene was so watered down and lackluster this year there's really no point in talking about it.
I rode this thing up from Richmond, Va for the **** show:

Thanks sir, cliffnotes are it is a 120" Diavoli S&S Super sidewinder with triple titanium valve springs, a huge 640 cam, 6 speed trans, 3" bdl open primary, west coast chopper everything. Its a pretty fun bike but its a little terrifying. Its way, way too fast for what it is, even with the performance machine huge brakes its just a handful. It's a little loud (you probably heard)
So no build thread for black bike as we kinda just throw them together with our friends and cases of beer. Here is one for the frisco sporty we threw together for a buddy that you have a pic of above.

And here is one we just got done if you want some bike ridiculousness. This copper bike was supposed to make it to the show but ran into too many little problems before we had to leave. It's all done now.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Its about 90% done. There are a few minor things I would like to take care of before I could call it "done". Mostly just personal preference things, but I'm out of time and money with it really.
I actually have to sell the bike in the next 3-6 months as I'll be moving out of country for work, so... if anyone wants at it...
Those chopper/bobber jams were pretty sick, sounded sick as **** too. There were a couple cool cafe bikes running around that I saw parked most of the time. And a few other rat bobbers that were pretty sweet. I'm not really into sport bikes that much (unless it means grafting their parts onto something from the 70s/80s) but there were some fairly nice ones out, that weren't jsut cookie cutter store bought ****.
