Selling my beloved car. I just don't have the time to work on it like I thought I would. It is a 1980 Scirocco S non sunroof car with stock 1.6 and 5 speed. Red interior, stock recaros. 148K mi.
The good:
Runs strong and drives well
Lowered on HOR technologies springs
Neuspeed upper and lower front tie bars
Stock Bosch fog lights with no cracks and both covers
Black carpet in really good shape
Seats show some normal wear and fading, but overall solid
Good door panels
Back half of the body in rally good shape
Good bumpers, grille, and glass except for the windshield
Good tires on stock wheels
The not so good:
The car had been hit on the passenger fender when I got it. It was tweaked slightly and the PO bunged the drivers fender and door when opening it. I have since straightened the front end, replaced the passenger fender (but it is gold), and straighted the drivers door and fender.
Typical rust in the bottom of the doors. Passenger is moderate, drivers is minimal. I have a spare passenger door.
Dash and windshield are cracked. I have a replacement windshield. I also have a spare dash that is 9/10, but is not included in the price.
Overall it is a good solid driver/project car.
I have several other parts available, but not included in the price
Audi 80 intake with CSV and Neuspeed TB
Full set of black rear carpet including sound deadening material
Heckblende "SCIROCCO" rear filler
Dash that is 9/10
Hollow sway bars front and rear
spare grille
drivers fender
Autotech header with smashed coupler that will work if you weld a new one on
Front and rear bumper inserts
