I have been looking for a little while now and was finally able to track down a 2013 GLI Autobahn w/NAV, 6 speed, and Candy White! I put down my deposit last week to secure it. Yesterday I got a pic fresh off the truck. Next Saturday she will be in my possession and I can't wait!!

Is it just me but isnt the nav the highest package besides getting it in auto? Does it not come default with a sunroof?

So, bad news...... On the drive home from Denver to Portland, a herd of elk crossed the freeway as I came over a hill at 4:30am, I was unable to avoid them and got the smallest one with the front corner of the drivers side. I was about 220 miles away from home on a 1200 mile trip, and had to have it towed home the rest of the way. I hadn't even owned the car for 24 hours yet. I am a little upset.

I feel your pain. One week after I got my GLI someone backed up to it in my driveway. good thing it was a jeep and it had a spare tire on the back, rim hit my hood. All t needed was a hood. Got it back in 2 days

Hopefully but I dunno, to me once a car has had paint/bodywork/accident, it's just never the same. *shrug*

I also agree about shipping it...while road trips are fun, hundreds of miles on the freeway just asks for trouble, be it road grime, rock chips, elk, etc...are there no Autobahn/Nav GLIs in your area? All the dealers here are sitting on several and have been for some time, they don't seem to be moving at $30k.

Either way what's done is done and I feel for ya, hopefully she gets fixed properly.

There is some suspension damage, that was never brought up, I was talking frame. The frame rail is still completely straight.

This was the only 2013 GLI Autobahn w/nav, 6 speed manual, in candy white that I was able to track down. I also got the car for $27.5k, so that made it worth the trip

WOW... terrible news on a first day of ownership. Not even a day! Poor LED headlights! Looks like it was one hell of an elk, must have been doing over 60 to turn up that kind of damage.
