hello everyone i just recently bought an mk5 jetta 2.0 Fsi , i am highly knowledgable of the 2.0 aeg motor , but since this has a turbo i have a few questions.

First when i turn on the car the fans go on , is this normal? i didnt even realize this when i first checked out the car. i also noticed some tapping but this is normal because my old 2.0 did the same , i would just dump some atf or lucas and that would do the trick.

As for the Infamous Diesel sound that i keep reading about , what does it come down too . is it normal to sound just like one?
