    Shifting ?????????

    I have a 97 vw jetta trek and I cant put the car into 2nd gear at all, all others I can but have trouble. I have push the clutch then put into gear and then do it again so it can actually get the gear. Oh and 2nd and 4th gear hit the very back part of the square inside the car. Any help plzzz

    It sounds like you need to check the linkage or shift cables for slop and worn parts, then re-adjust once the linkage is in good shape.
