i'm selling a super clean 87 toyota supra, automatic trans, with 90,000 original miles. WHEN YOU STEP INTO THIS CAR ITS LIKE YOU'RE GOING BACK IN TIME CAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE A NEW CAR the interior is immaculate, it is fully loaded with most of the features you find in cars today, and every switch button and electronic feature works like the day it was bought, this is a well taken care of car. the doors still have that solid thump like a new car. THE SHEET METAL IS FLAWLESS "NO DINGS OR DENTS" the car was repainted 6 years ago and new rubber seals all around the doors and targa top. even when you're washing the car and spraying it hard with the hose the car does not leek a drop. the car runs so smooth that you can not hear or feel it running when it is at idol. i wish i could put more pics on here cause you need to see and drive the car to appreciate it, the small pics on here do not do it justice. ALL SERIOUS INQUIRIES CALL BRUCE AT 410 340 2715 thanks.

Meh, too low and too auto. That, and the head gasket is probably blown.

Jeezers.. you act like a head-gasket is not fixable.

    But it does look low.
    Probably needs new springs.
My 85 RX7 was also sagging on oem springs.

But these cars are so solid feeling... and the inline 6 has torx that works with the auto.
It would be a great cruiser.

I owned one. A very, very nice one optioned similar to this, but mine had leather. Have you driven one with the auto? It sucks what little character this has right out.

Does it look nice? Sure. But you can see side bolster wear on the driver's seat, which they conveniently barely showed the area that wears the worst.

Also, painted 6 years ago? Being an 87, it should have black side moldings, and they painted these. Its often done incorrectly, and I doubt this one is any different.

I'm sorry if I sound like I'm peeing in your cheerios, but it just doesn't appear to be very time capsule, or worth having at that price or anywhere near it.

Seriously, looks nice but too bad it's an auto...and +1 on the head gasket probably being blown or very close to it. What colour was the gauge lights when you turned them on? Green?

Ah, good catch on the trim paint.
Bad paint job =/= time capsule.

I don't like how the forum quote block makes everything italicized.
So I just use a blue color block, which I find much easier to read than the italicized block.

You got something against blue color workers?

Too bad whoever repainted the car sucks at making good choices and painted over all the trim, in addition to removing the front badge. It is nice to see one that actually has reflections on the top of the rear bumper, and more amazing to see a center armrest that isn't cracked or ripped! If you've ever seen one with original paint they're nearly all completely faded by now.

This is my friend's 1990 Supra, still rockin' original paint!

    Its headlights are broken
Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow.

Looks great, facelift is the way to go and I sure do love the headlight washers.

Unfortunately those are the only ones that haven't been beat on and are now "drift missiles" with haggard JZ swaps by now.

Interesting that the wheels are different on each side; the "spoke" that is not lowered points to the rear of the car, no matter what side you're looking at.

i think the wheels are directional, maybe designed to help cool the brakes? or maybe just for looks. Nice catch tho, i never noticed that.

There's properly modifying and there is cutting up. If you're afraid of a well modded supra you probably aren't the type of person who should own a supra. And well done examples do exist.

However, the existence of poor examples of a desirable car, does not make the absolute LEAST desirable version of it, any more desirable.

Nah, you can still find turbos in good condition but they all want collector prices, like this clean 92 turbo for $16,500.

My grandmother has an '87 Turbo w/ Targa that has around 87-88K on it. She bought it new and hardly ever drives it anymore, but it runs like a champ (or as well as they ever did lol). Pearl white with burgundy interior.

I don't have any pics on my phone, but I'll try to remember to post some when I get home. The thing looks brand new except for some minor wear on the steering wheel from her rings scratching it .
