Seems like they modeled this one after the Chinese NMS OEM headlight as opposed to the Audi look. Though judging by the pictures, it definitely does not look as good as the Chinese OEM headlight nor is it an exact replica.

I was looking into these after finding them last weekend, same ebay store, similar to what writeb installed on his passat, but these are shipped without a low beam light, giving the option of D2H HID or H7 halogen. The adapter harness ships with only one side assembled (looks like 10 pin to 10 pin in the pics), so that should leave room for some customization for the wiring. Kinda like the angel eyes. high beam is standard halogen. Even without HId's installed, it comes to a bit less overall, plus you can play with setting them up on the bench before actually installing them. Issue here. There was no 2011 NMS Passat. The North American version. Says a B7, which was for the European Passat. Question very carefully.

The text in the listing may be wrong, but the pictures clearly show the NMS headlight.

Here is the HID B7(Magotan in China) headlight. The LED DRLs are shaped like the Letter 'U', similar to the 2011+ Touareg's.


And the B7 Halogen version, notice it's missing the DRL compartment compared to our headlight.


In any case there is a large curve on the upper outer corner of the headlight.

Here is the HID NMS headlight, notice that same corner is much sharper and the housing is much more rectangular looking. Also the LED DRLs are shaped like a flat 'W'



I could be wrong but the pictures in the listing seem like a fit for the NMS headlight to me. They even used a picture of the stock NMS headlight in the listing. Not saying I would buy it. The projectors themselves are probably crappy quality. So I'm guessing you will end up with something that looks like this:


As opposed to this with good OEM or quality aftermarket parts:

These aftermarket headlights look to only fit the chinese market passat and the american nms passat. The euro version has different shaped headlights. I personally want the oem replica set. I'm after the oem look hopefully withoutthe headaches of the oem setup.
