Im in need of a set of radiator fans for a 2002 2.slow jetta. Dont need a radiator or AC condensor..only the fans. I have an add posted in classifieds w/ paypal ready...
Question is: Are the electric dual fan shroud/fan setups the same for the 1.8T & 2.0? Im assuming the VR isnt and requires a larger fan setup.
THE JUST OF IT is, I need a dual fan setup as mine burned out this week due to overheating prob/leaking thermostat...
If I can use a 1.8T or VR, that will make it easier/quicker for me to find one instead of ONLY LOOKING FOR A 2.0.
Please post your knowledge!! More the better, looking for confirmation

thanks for insight. Just went on ECS and did some comparisons. It appears same fan on all 3 engine types per fan details.... Also same for beetle, going trying local scrap yard today.
IF ANYONE also can confirm, it would be greatly appreciated
