    http://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/3302669641.html

Genuine BMW parts used throughout and all work performed by BMW master technicians.

All paint is original and in excellent condition. There is no history or evidence of prior bodywork nor is there any rust on the vehicle. The interior is nearly perfect with only light wear. No cracks in the dash, no holes in the seats, and no modifications whatsoever.

Vehicle includes all original books, a complete set of keys (including the master key tag) and all service records since new.

This sale is targeted at BMW aficionados who understand that such a low-mileage example of this car is extremely rare and that one in near-perfect condition that requires no work is almost unheard of. If you're a BMW nut and you're looking for a prime example of an E30 then you must look at this car.

The car is worth the price! Sure, you could find one for half this amount, but it would have 10X the miles and probably need at least $10K worth of work to bring it up to this condition.

Is this worth the money he is asking of $14000?

IMO, yep, even if you planned on driving it. Getting an E30 to that level would cost more than the asking price, and I've already seen nice cars with more miles asking similar ($10-12k). As for the E30 M3 comment - a decent driver M3 is about $20k now if you don't want something with a salvage title or an engine swap.
A hundred dollars on your hair, fifty on your nails, fifty on make-up, two hundred dollars for an outfit. You ladies spend four hundred dollars to bring home a thug that ain't worth ten cents!

Price is high for the year, but i'd sooner buy this for my wife as a replacement for her Cabriolet than any other convertible currently on the market.
If you make something idiot proof, a better idiot will come along.

Yeah, it has three strikes in my opinion.

    - Price
    - Automatic
    - Convertible.

Now if that was a 2 door E30 318i with a manual, yes I'd look twice.
