i have no real interest in cars anymore actually. Cars tow bikes to where bikes need to be. vw does a plenty decent job building cars themselves and I don't feel like I need to help them.

Also not sure how building a vw is "something worthwhile"

I don't have any build threads but have had a 85 gti, 83 gti, 78 rabbit, 80 rabbit truck, 83 scirocco, 91 gti, 95 gti vr6, 2002 gti vr6, 2002 jetta, 98 a4 v6, 00 a4 1.8t and maybe forgetting one. Most of which I bought broke down then put them back on the road. Here is one I painted and turbocharged. Its not a crowning achievement by no means but it was a great learning experience.
