    I'm looking to sell my 1991 Tan VW Golf GL . It's a Great car . She only has about 92,000 miles on her . She's a beautiful daily driver and is a fantastic platform to start off on if your looking to do any modifications . The interior of the car is SUPER CLEAN, from seats to door panels and trim no cracks in the dash. Asking $3200 OBO . There's NO RUST , and as a preventative measure I pulled the carpet and painted the floor with por15 rust prevention paint so there's no worries for the future . The undercarriage of the car is super clean as well and has been power washed . Pretty much all original.

    I'm convinced the automatics survived longer. I wish I had the funds to buy this and turn it into a 5 spd.

    It reminds me when I had to redo my floors in my '87 golf GL with fiberglass in high school. Except you didn't need to.

    I went to look at a "wolfsburg" Jetta a couple mos. ago and the guy lied to my face the whole time. Said it had no rust (Great Stuff and hosed it with undercoating that I put my finger through), said the sunroof didn't leak, (sat in the driver's seat, planted my hand on the rear floor boards to see if they might be damp, dredged my hand back out of an inch of scurvy Mk2 stagnant water.) He didn't even have the door panels on and he wanted $1400. Didn't take much to have "walk away power".
