So we all know that within the past few weeks, and especially the past few days, gas prices are going up, up, up! Even on the verge, or already, breaking records! Since Norcal is a pretty wide area, I was just curious as to how much all of you other VW drivers are paying. I know most of us use premium as well. So post up your numbers! I paid $4.69 a gallon of premium gas in Napa two days ago. All I could do the whole time was

With my Touareg averaging around 15mpg and my gti ranging from 10mpg to 28mpg, it can really add up fast. I just try and look the other way. Maybe give up a fancy Starbucks drink a week or something. Whatever, I'm not stopping driving nor am I interested in a Prius

It's $4.39 for premium at Travis AFB. $4.25 for regular at Costco in Vacaville.

I paid $5.05 yesterday for 91. Most I've ever spent per gallon.
Two days before that it was "only" $4.59. WTF happened?

My guess is the trickle down from the chevron explosion. looks like theres a possibility we might get the winter fuel earlier than planned due to the shortage. so hopefully these outrageous prices wont last for long.

I guess Elk Grove isn't so bad compared to some other cities. I filled up my R32 at $4.39 JUST before the prices started going up (again). Now, it sits at $4.75 for 91

If you're in GA, why are you posting in the Norcal forum?

Dude, chiiilllllll. I gave you the because nowhere in California are we seeing prices anywhere close to that. The average in the state is now like 4.70 a gallon. I was hoping that you had maybe found some super secret gas station that was selling at an unbelievably unreasonable price! Glad you still have Norcal in your heart
