Women do want to be equal

The title is missleading. It sounded like women where targeted based on the gender. The article states, the insurance companies are taking gender out of picture. Isnt that what equality is all about??

TBH from UK this actually reads:
'Women's premiums now match outrageous mens rates'

for at least a decade now our insurers have been hiking rates on young male drivers under the mistaken assumption they are x-times more likely crash & claim.

With grumbling about equality issues however, the insurance industry thought it best to raise the lady's insurance to match, rather than lower the boy's
