    PLEASE HELP!!! Need to replace driver's side view mirror on 2012 CC.....

    Unfortunately, the CC is a little bit wider than our Jetta and I hit the mirror on garage door when backing out one morning in the dark. Needless to say, my husband was not very happy. We were able to find another mirror and need to replace the whole unit. Can somebody please help with instructions on how to replace it. I am pretty sure the door panel needs to be removed. Step by step instructions would be very helpful. Don't want to spend money to take it to dealer to get it replaced. Thanks!!

    Just pull the mirror off. Literally. It just snaps in. Then unhook the wires. Put wires back on. The pop new mirror in. Grab the mirror by the edge and it pops off.
