    Semi-blacked out grille

    I've been thinking about doing this to my own Passat, black out the horizontal bars but leave the outline one. but with the VW emblem still there. anyone have examples of that or is there a "name" for this specific style?

    Well, I ended up trying it out with plasti-dip. thoughts? I'll try and get better pics later.

    I did mine a while ago the same way. I really like how it looks
