1997 white Jetta GLS. 83K miles, clean body, clean interior and a good running motor.
The good:
Motor has many new parts including: battery, distributor, cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter, air filter, and motor mounts are less than 6 months old. coolant hoses, vee belts, water pump, coolant flange, thermostat and timing belt are all about a year old as well as the CV axles. Body is very clean, paint is good. The interior reflects the low mileage with clean and plush seats. Carpet is clean with no rub marks, door panels are clean, headliner looks great. Tires have good tread on them with an alignment about a month ago. The oil change was just changed about 400 miles ago.
The bad:
The transmission makes a grinding noise when in gear and the car does not move. Transmission was leaking a few days before it completely died. Exhaust manifolds and catalytic converter need new gaskets because they are leaking. The factory radio is in safe mode. I have the code but can't figure out how to unlock it.
The ugly: There's a small rust spot on the inside edge of the driver's door. The rear bench seat has a cigarette burn.Hood has a ding as well as the front passenger door.
