I pay $90 cause I know the owner. I can ask if he would want the vortex business.
I can ask him when I go towards the end of the month.
Just wondering if anybody knows of any Group Rust proofing for Krown? You see it a lot on different forums and wanted to know if maybe something like this goes on for VWVortex?
I did my krown last year when I got my car for about $115 or so however I have been reading about guys getting it for around $90-$100 because of a group buy.
But it looks like you guys are out of the way for me. I'm in the west end of Toronto and my local Krown is about a 5min drive from me lol.
But everybody says oh you dont need to rust proof new cars but I still see some cars rusting (Mazda)
But anyways the way I see it its just added protection and also the oil will protect other parts ie under the car that tend to rust out quicker & it probably acts as a lubricant also in some cases so for $100ish a year why not.
It's just VW's have always been owned in my family (Canada, Poland, Russia) and we never had any issues with them rusting since we maintained them when needed (i.e. waxing, washing, paint touch ups etc.).
Best of luck though with finding a good bargain!
If you subscribe to Dealfind, there was a special this week for $39.00 Rustproofing at Royal Auto Detailing in Mississauga.
