Well, I like (relatively) cheap cars and I would have a lot of money, so I'd build the second garage we're talking about and put a 356, my Beetle and something else in there. "Something else" refers to a 2002, 240Z, Chevy II or??? Perhaps the wife's hot rod will go in there.

Oh, and the garage would be big enough that I'd have a clean room for building engines. And a couch/flat screen/fridge/half bath.

    $4,950

I would buy a Jetta 4 (01 or 02) with fairly low mileage.

For ~$82,000, I'd pick up a used Lotus Exige, a decent camper for the pickup, and an enclosed trailer. Whatever is left over would be blown quickly on fuel and tires.

    lets see...
$100k would comfortably get me a Modena Spyder and allow me to transplant an actual Ferrari V12 into it. That would do nicely.

These two cost me < $1000 for the set - RWD, 5-Speed Manual, IRS, Turbo, 2.3 Pinto engine easily capable of 400 or more hp, Recaro Seats, hatchback for utility and you don't see them every day.

So, I'd probably by another one of these

This thread is not kind to lurkers
If I did have an extra $1300 in my car budget right now, it'd be going into parts for the Z, but if it has to be spent on purchasing a car, probably something like this...

    21,217 x $10 = $212,170

I almost don't quite no where to start.

For the wife's commuter, family sedan.
    Tesla Model S (60kwh) in brown, $59,900...

    Weekend and fun car.
    Porsche Cayman S, blue, $62,100...

My commuter, snow car, dog car.
    BMW x5 35d, dark grey, $60k...

    and money to spare
    epitome

I need to follow this... "Not everything you eat has to, or should, taste really f*cking awesome. Sometimes you need to eat 'boring' food to stay healthy.
