I would get a Hyundai, but the angry alien interiors and dashboards put me off.

Actually, I think the Outback is the most sturdiest feel when you close the doors. Forgot about that one. When I went to the dealer I jumped in a few Subies, but they didn't have an Outback there at the time.

Hopefully you don't have any of those steering wheel shake issues..........

I'd buy a Mazda RX-8, but there are no complete LS1 swap kits available yet.

I would buy a 8th or 9th gen Honda Civic Si, but I hate the horrible visibility, the giant A pillars, the horrible rear visibility due to the huge rear headrests and small rear window.

I would buy a VW Golf for my wife, but the fact that VWs aren't reliable makes me look elsewhere.

I call BS they didn't have one in the showroom, and there wasn't a salesman around to open one up? You are full of ****.

I think not. The VW interior is much more subdued, but it still looks nice. The Volvo's on the other hand is just too distracting while still looking relatively bland. The only thing I like about the Volvo's interior is the stitched leather dash.

My Subaru dealer only has room for one car in their showroom. Their building is also 104 years old and in "old town" Herndon so it's rather tiny...

I've spent time in both, the Volvo interior is leaps and bounds above that lame VW interior. I know which one I'd rather be in.

I'd buy a VW or lower-level Audi... Well, no, I don't really see the appeal anymore.

That's quite the unique situation. You live in the middle of nowhere and have no experience about the subject you are discussing, which hardly qualifies you to make such judgements.

Absolutely. Without red stitching, plaid seats and brushed aluminum the mkV interior really isn't all that spectacular. It is good for an economy car but isn't anything to write home about.

Driving a VW is like having sex. Teenagers fanaticize about it on Internet forums, but after all the build-up, you're always left covered in fliuds and a little disappointed.

    You really don't think so?

I really like the GTI and Golf R, and the Jetta TDI wagon is sort of in a class of one.

Also, the EOS is perhaps the most well-rounded convertible on the market, though I don't know how reliable they are.

I would buy a Porsche but I couldn't afford to fix it/maintain it properly. Apply that to pretty much every used German performance car (M3, M5, AMG, S4, etc. etc.)

    I would buy a 335i/135i but i can't afford one w/ a warranty.

I would buy a volvo S60R/V70R if they were more reliable.

the list goes on and on and on....mostly it comes down to money.

i would buy a VW Golf, but the rear seats dont fold flat anymore thanks to cost cutting. Same goes for the Audi A3.

I would buy a Lexus CT200h but the build quality is very subpar compared to even the VW Golf.
