There was a small turn out yesterday at Stohlman VW in Tysons Corner and possibly due to the periodic rain we had all day. Despite that I think we all still had a good time. Stohlman feed us big time and gave away all types of drivers gear and even TV's to the fans favorites. Not bad at all if you ask me.

    Enjoy

Thank you. Wish I could have taken a few more, but the rain was a slight issue.

My car got keyed at this event. Wasn't in the show, parked on the other side of the building. Coincidentally, there were some subies parked around me.

Can't say I blame them. It was a joint VW/Subaru event, and I heard so much subie trash talking, and general disrespect when winning FREE Subaru merchandise.

Ironic part is the few STIs there were nicer than the majority of hooptie VWs in the "show."

First event like this I've been to, and it was embarrassing to be associated with such an obnoxious group of morons.

Props to Stohlman for hosting a great event. Too bad the Vortex ghetto squad had to show up.

I’m sorry you got your car keyed at that event. Keying someone’s car is one of the scummiest things one can do. So what if someone likes and drives a VW. So what if some likes and drives a Subaru. I mean it was an Enthusiast event, and obviously some pricks forgot to leave their ego’s on route 7.

There was free VW Drivers Gear given away as well. VW fan favs and Subaru fan favs also received a TV as well, so I didn’t notice any favoritism there.

Overall yes there were a few aholes there, but technically that's at every car show. That is the main reason why I didn’t go to H2O. Drunk low alcohol tolerance morons? No thanks.

Don’t let people discourage you from enjoying what you like my friend but I understand how you feel.

I know its bad to generalize, but when a small group is obnoxious, it reflects poorly on the community as a whole. Hence, my car getting caught in the crossfire, when I'm apparently in the minority that appreciates both VW and Subaru. But I'm sure if it was a Subaru dominated event, the same stuff would have occurred but the opposite way.

I just dont doubt my car got keyed simply because its a VW and I'm guilty by association. Super lame.

I just browsed some Subaru forums to see what they said about the event, and it seems like they all had a good time. So maybe I'm coming to the wrong conclusion. But I heard many things that would have made me feel unwelcome if I had brought a Subaru. Anyways. It doesn't look like the scratch penetrated my clear so I should be able to buff it out. It spans two panels. Looks like its finally time to buy a polisher and some compound. 2 years scratch free isnt bad.

Well hopefully you can buff that out. Still sucks ass though.

Good thing it wasn't a major dent.

When I go to shows I usually go with a few peeps, and our rides are always on watch. Anyone
who does something foolish will meet the Maglite.

I think this is just an annual event.
