Part Number Lookup Help

Can anyone help me find a part number, please? I spoke to a dealership already, ordered what they thought was the right part, and it's not.. In the mean time, my car is sitting on jackstands and I'm swiping my fiance's car to get to work..


anyways - part is the bolt that holds 5th gear to the shaft inside the trans. It's a T60 torx head, stretch bolt. Supposed to be replaced anytime it comes out (and I'll take a guess that it wasn't replaced last winter when I had my trans taken apart to fix some stuff, and that's why it went tits up and backed out).

The bolt is labeled #4 here (and is the one to the left, but i guess they are both the same?)

Well, the link you provided is for 020, but your signature says you have a VR6. Which part number are you looking for?

For a VR6, is it number 9 in this diagram?

yeah sorry, i didnt realize i linked the 020 one (i looked at that to see the 5th gear bolt on that, b/c turns out thats what the dealership ordered me the first time...) same page has 02a stuff as well. It's #9 for sure.
