So I was in Europe for a month i came back and upon starting i got airbag faulty warning. this is what I got from the Vag-COM

    Address 15: Airbags Labels: 3C0-909-605.lbl
    Control Module Part Number: 3C0 909 605 G HW: 3C0 909 605 G
    Component and/or Version: 0D AIRBAG VW8R 029 2421
    Software Coding: 0012356
    Work Shop Code: WSC 00028 028 00001
    Additional Info: 3C0959339A BF-Gewichtsens. 006 0002
    Additional Info: Geraet 00001
    VCID: 2A513970859E92485F1
    2 Faults Found:

    00588 - Airbag Igniter; Driver Side (N95)
001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent - MIL ON
03032 - Supply Voltage for Seat Occupied Recognition Control Module
    002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

I dont think this is a clock spring because the buttons on the steering wheel work just fine. Also does anyone has experience with the second code I could not find any info on that? are they somehow related ? any help will be appreciated.

The second code that you are getting for the passenger seat occupancy light (in the dash under the radio) you may have a couple of loose connectors which is giving you the light. Early MK5's had a TSB about the connector/wires for that.

.. Maybe the battery is low on juice.. I know people get weird CELs when the battery is dying. I would clear it to see if it comes back.

I did clear it and I drove the car some so it should of have charged up but lately I have hard starting but it might be because the weather gets colder in my area. the second msg went away now I have only the driver airbag fault code. But that makes no sense you don't drive your car and gets broken I am really wtf?!....
