I just bought Steve's (Vedubauman) 1975 4-Dr Miami Blue Rabbit (Thanks Steve!!!). I'd say it was my dream car For those of you that know me, no, I won't be following my brother's example :p I plan on doing a restore. And I must say, I am sooo happy to finally "officially" be part of the mk1 community!

    My Swallowtail!

I'll post pics of my past cars ( for the obligatory pic post) until I get my Swallowtail restored

    -----------------------------------

Present - My Daily: 2012 CC .:R Line 6-Speed Manual

    2009 - Present (Kept as my Hubby's Daily): 2004 .:R32

    -----------------------------------
2004 - 2009: 2004 .:R32. This was my baby. Bought it over-priced and brand-spankin new in April of 04. Kept it stock till about my 4th year then stripped her to what I like to call the 'OEM Minus' theme. I like simple, clean and classy lines. Don;t worry. I won't do this to my Miami

^ This .:R was unfortunately totaled soon-there after body completion by a head-on collision but I was able to buy the car back. And I'm proud to say I was able to keep it in the family... It now lives on in these two projects which many of you already know:

My Bro got the Drivetrain & Heart in Nashty Rabbit: 1984 AWD Twin-Turbo Rabbit

My Hubby got the Interior in Speedy VW: Shaved, tucked, stripped 2001 Jetta 1.8T

    -----------------------------------
Here are all my old cars except for my '81 Jetta and my 87' Fox Wagen which I drove for 7 years (Still gotta scan in those pics, lol!)

    My Granny Pickle Passat Wagen

    And my '97 VR6

I look forward to getting to know the rest of you and catching up with the ones I already lurk :p See you in St. Augustine this weekend!

    Cheers

A swallowtail. (miami blue one to say the least)
and a cc. (on air? Bought 20" mulliners for a bagged cc than realized i couldn't afford one )

Depends on your standards, I guess. Its a clean turn-key that drives like a champ. But I'd like to get the surface-rust taken care of, upholstery re-stuffed with something more hypoallergenic :p , etc.
