    Sorry for the stupid question.

I bought a Recaro seat and I am looking forward to mounting it in my car. I was told and assumed that I need mounting brackets that are VW MKIV specific but cannot for the life of me find them anywhere. All i can find is MKIV Recaro Sliders and side mounts from here. I have seen a few universal mounting brackets but would prefer a Recaro specific bracket. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Wedge brackets are designed to be cut down to proper height. They start at maximum height. You have to modify them to your own specs.

Sportster CSs are some of the most comfortable seats I've had the pleasure of sitting in

Any details on this? I run wedge brackets with my sparcos and even though I am happy with my seating position I am curious.

There are 3 mounting surfaces. Are you saying the back 2 can be shortened? I don't see how the front can be shortened.
