So I bought the whole SmartShift2 kit at H2Oi this year from NGP. They also had the Short Shift 3 lever so I picked that up too. I'm not going to be able to install the whole kit for a little while just because of scheduling problems (I want to take my time and get it right), but I was wondering if I would be able to install the short shift lever one morning before I go to work? I haven't read anything about installing the lever and I'm not sure if it will work on stock linkage. Has anyone tried it? Also which hole gives you shorter throw, the one towards the middle or the one on the outside? Thanks!

    020 I believe. It's a 2.0 engine.

Assuming you have have a 2.0, it is possible. But there's a chance that the Short Shift arm might not fit on the shifter relay lever. I bought an auto tech short shifter and a brand new shifter relay lever and they did not fit. So I used the one that was already on the car, but changed the ball. So to sum it up, yes it's possible.

I have an AutoTech short shifter on my car as well. I might go ahead and install the shift weight while I'm at it, but the dog bone piece and the threaded rod are going to have to be installed later. Thanks for your help!
