From Asheville to Cary...

I'm leaving out from the Asheville area early Saturday morning. I'm planning to drive I-40 the whole way and was wondering if anyone else will be coming through the area and would like to caravan. When you drive a 30 year old car it's nice to not travel alone.

If anyone is interested, reply here and we'll work out any details.

Hi Scott!
The plan is to be on the road as close to 7 am as I can. If I was going by myself, that wouldn't be a problem... but, the wife and son are going and I don't know which one takes longer to get on the ball.

I am going to use google latitude so that everyone going can keep track of each other.

At exit 59 (Swannanoa), there is a small gravel lot right at the end of the offramp. That would probably be a good spot to meet up.

I think the safe thing would be to plan on meeting up at 8.
I'm coming back Sunday. I think 11+ hours on the road would suck, so I booked a room.
