honestly I might prefer they abuse it a little bit.

frying a clutch in this case is annoying. but I mean come on, just get the clutch replaced. it's not like they wrecked it and bent the frame. or am I missing something about additional damage?
Yes, they are supposed to put the car through it's paces to make sure everything is ok.
    But burnouts?
    No way man.
Not only is that possibly warranty voiding (of the customer did it), but it burns up $$$ in tire life.

Yeah. I don't know about the part where they talked about going through six gears without using the clutch.

Playing around a little bit is one thing but doing actual damage to the clutch, the gearbox, and then making the owner pay for me is another.

yeah, that is crappy. they can't do burnouts in my Jeep though. I mean, unless they pull the transfer case fuse. I guess I'd be mega pissed if they did that as it basically guarantees a new t/c is needed.

but a bit different than a conveniently placed pedal, so I don't worry too much.

99.9% of the general public would consider it a sports car.

I agree, but 99.9% of people are wrong, including the person who wrote the article. I put 0 stock in what most people have to say. I know most people don't know what they are talking about. This isn't the general public though, and I would think people on this forum would see how silly this statement is. Camaro SS is a muscle car, and a fast one, but it's not a small, agile sports car.

I heard a Toyota Camry hybrid commercial tonight, and the guy in the commercial actually said it "drives like a sports car, you'd be surprised how zippy it is". Big companies can basically say whatever they want now in their advertising, the lines are so blurred it doesn't even matter anymore.
