I was thinking of trying Eastwood myself. Never had any experience painting cars either.

We use these often, for cheap junk they are the best and you have a gun for primer, paint/clear and the mini for light jobs like rims

Dont buy cheap clear and make sure all your surfaces are well scuffed and apply wax and grease remover generously. Make sure your guns are adjusted right a bad run can ruin a paint job

I might suggest starting with a two tone job or rims for practice instead of an overall alot of work and expertise is required for a decent job.

I have painted several cars getting paint from

    paintforcars.com

prices are pretty cheap and they come in kits. If you are doing your first one I would use a single stage just to get the hang of it. I thought it would be way easier to paint a car then it was. Getting it even is rather difficult.

Plus if you use a single stage and deiced it is not worth all the effort again to tape and clear coat...your all ready done
