Thread: wheel fitment

    im looking at 17x9 et30 wheels all around, i want to have them poke very little in front and rear, i was wondering what i would need to do that as far as tire size and spacers, i drive a 20th ae gti lowered on h&r coilovers.help will be much appreciated, thanks.

    No way to avoid some poke with those specs. You'd probably even need to space them out some, at least up front, just to keep from rubbing the struts. Whether it's too much poke for your taste or not is up to you. Use a calculator such as http://www.1010tires.com/About/Tools...set-Calculator to figure out how the new size will sit compared to whatever you run now.

    Simply put, when I was looking to see what widths and offsets would work for me, I crawled under my car while on ramps and measured all the tight clearance spots just so I would know for certain what would work or not. You can ask for advice but, how do you know who to trust?
