First off its a 98 gti vr6 with mk4 look alike headlights.
I simply disconnected the tail light connectors, swapped in my smoked tails (which were not corroded) and plugged them in. Go to make sure the bulbs are good and try turn signals...blinked once then nothing. The right side market lights are all on even if the key is out of ignition.
Replaced hazard relay and hazards work. If I keep the 4? Pin connector unplugged I got it so the lights all work minus turns (front and back)
    Replaced turn signal arm....no luck.
    Hazards do work all around.

The headlights have their own relays under the hood.

Is wired for rear fogs and they work.

Any help or ideas greatly appreciated.

I was thinking if I got some ecodes instead it might fix the issue...dono tho

Did you remove the all red tail lights? Want to sell those?
