Thread: Dinamica durability question.

  1. 10-10-2012 03:22 AM #1
have narrowed my list down to a Passat TDI SEL Prem. or a Touareg TDI - leaning towards Passat just because it makes more $$ sense. Wondering how everyone's Dinamica is holding up. Does the black show any piling or lint? Is moonrock showing any stains or color transfer from jeans etc...

Experiences or pics would be greatly appreciated.

Cornsilk here, car is 15 months old, we've owned it for 10 months. I was worried about color transfer, as we wear a lot of black (no, we're not undertakers, we're professionsal classical musicians).

Surprisingly, the Dinamica is NOT showing a great deal of color transfer, but the LEATHER on the seating area is. I haven't tried to clean it yet, but if it's anything like the leatherette, it will be very hard to remove.

No pilling or lint issues. I'm pleased with the kids (11 and 14) back seat area. It still looks new.

Moonrock rocks. Cool in the summer heat and not showing dirt or colors, and I wear mostly blue or black jeans. After 5 months and almost 7K miles, drivers seat looks and feels new.

Black looks great after 13 month/15k miles. Lint is surprisingly low and the seat are cool in the summer. Didn't expect to like them this month.

After 12 months and 21K miles they still like new and look awesome.
No a single problem, material deteriorate or any damage with seats whatsoever.
I have to kids, 4 and 2 and rear seat look like new too.
I had to cleaned it once with a carpet cleaning spray and it went off easy and look like new.
    it's a great product !
I really like the black, dark color seats and they are even pretty fresh in the Texas summer heat we had on summer.
    No complaint at all !

I have the cornsilk interior. Dinaminca is holding up great so far. The leather does get colored from blue jeans though - kind of annoying. I clean it weekly with lexol cleaner followed by conditioner.
I only have 1500 miles on it.

So far, they are holding up better than I expected. Blue jeans are the worst for color transfer, but I don't wear them too often.

I have a towel for the rear seat that I use under the three child seats I have, so it looks new when I remove the seats/towel for adults.
