No - a Euro car brought here by VW, scheduled for a date with the crusher.

For some reason I was expecting an air-cooled Super Beetle. What the hell was I thinking?

I can't wait to see more, Jamie.

Mmmmmm, I like where this is going. I really like that it's going to look, for the most part, OEM by not using a fuel cell and all of that.

      Save it?

      It's a Beetle.

And 500hp and AWD would definitely add a bit of zip to things. And make it a bit of a sleeper.

If only they would fit over the brakes. But we've been lobbying fifteen52 to offer "retro" teddy bears for a while now and maybe a three piece version *could* fit over the brakes. That would either be one skinny or one fat ass bear stretched on a 19" wheel.

I'm still looking for a set of steelies that will fit over the brakes so I can buy the crappiest, hardest, longest tread wear tires in the skinniest size I can find so I can inflate them to 60 psi and do AWD burnouts.

Find a super quiet exhaust that only gets loud at WOT, throw on OEM wheels, no graphics, no aero, and have a girl drive it. Call it a day.
