      Save it?

      It's a Beetle.

And 500hp and AWD would definitely add a bit of zip to things. And make it a bit of a sleeper.

If only they would fit over the brakes. But we've been lobbying fifteen52 to offer "retro" teddy bears for a while now and maybe a three piece version *could* fit over the brakes. That would either be one skinny or one fat ass bear stretched on a 19" wheel.

I'm still looking for a set of steelies that will fit over the brakes so I can buy the crappiest, hardest, longest tread wear tires in the skinniest size I can find so I can inflate them to 60 psi and do AWD burnouts.

Find a super quiet exhaust that only gets loud at WOT, throw on OEM wheels, no graphics, no aero, and have a girl drive it. Call it a day.

Brad if you do this, I will buy some expensive wheels from you (not bear clones). Serious.
But they must be exact, just bigger.

Not sure what you mean. Like we make giant 3-pc Teddy Bears to show you we're serious or something?

      Won't these show you that?

I want giant 3-piece bears on this VW Beetle, and I'll pay to see it.

Funny thing is that one of the guys used to work in Burnsville, MN VW location, he serviced my car a few times, Ugur at BV VW was telling me he went to APR and bam, he's in the first 500 HP Beetle build. Small world I tell ya.

His name escapes me ATM ... I need to send this to the guys at Burnsville VW lol.

      Amazing amount of work!

Since you need room for the haldex, how about running side exhausts?

      this should be worth following...

and for wheels, make some VW full chrome convex plates, like this:

and the car needs to be brown. or monty green

i now realized i may have more than just a slight interest in this
