Can you turn off/down the annoying BT tone on startup?

I’ve tried turning it down when I’m on the phone and even have had the radio fully off, but it still comes on quite loud when I start up the car and the phone syncs up.

I looked through my menu buttons on the base stereo (POS compared to what I had in my GTI), but can’t find any kind of phone specific menu – is it in the MFD/MFI, or can something be done via VAGCOM, or am I plain out of luck on this? I did forget to go through the menu on the MFD, so perhaps its there somewhere.

make the annoying lady talk (press the talk button on the steering wheel), manually lower the volume as desired, that will be the volume of the bong when BT syncs with your phone.

Thanks. I will try that – when the phone itself was on before, I had turned it down to the lowest it would go, but perhaps it is the annoying lady b**** and not something else.
