So I have eibach sportlines with Koni sports and HATE the reverse rake i am getting.

I found the part # for the rear coilovers springs from eibachs coilver kit 8598.711

I was told by tirerack that the part # for the rear coils are 0800.250.0250

    So picked these up

    from Summit

Now my plan is to use these with FK perches which mount from the bottom

or purchasing Koni perches from another vortexer.

Do you guys think this will work or fail?

    Thanks

You will need to confirm that the perches are setup to acommodate a 2.5" spring diameter. If not, you will need a different perch, such as the Eibach one.

Ground Control also sells perches. You could purchase their perch and use the spring that you already have. If you go this route, contact reflexgti for best pricing and let him know I sent you his way.

He will also be able to give you an estimate as to what the height will look like with the 8in spring in combination with the GC perch.

This would likely be the cheapest route for new parts.

Yeh this actually the same spring from the ground control kit.

When I contacted GC directly the would not sell me the rears. Which is weird because I found these springs on there site after entering the art number in google.

I just sent reflexgti an email lets see what he says. Thanks for advice

I am truly having a hard time find perches for the 2.5inch diameter spring.

I came across these last night
Polyurethane spring spacers from autotech. These are actually meant for Mk4 waggons that got a lot of rear end sag with lowering springs.

I found a guy in the b5 audi forum that installed them so i know they could be made to work .

Those spring spacers are still for a 60mm id spring, so your 2.5in spring is still going to flop around a bit. Why not use the Eibach perch, are you not able to get it from an Eibach retailer as a replacement part? Or you could use a 60mm perch and have a ring made to center the spring on the 60mm perch.
