Spotted this cosular plated Lancia Delta (complete with Euro-mad manual transmission) and was wondering what other cars people have seen which don't belong in their country (other than the usual 15/25-year Canada/USA imports).

I saw a newer Peugeot station wagon parked along 5th Ave one night. Didn't see if it had diplomatic plates or not though. I snapped a pic, let me see if I can find it.

I frequently see an R32 GTR parked on University Place.

I've seen a red R34 GTR in front of a bank in NJ.

    I've seen JDM Hondas galore.

That's about it for here in the states. I'd have to think about cars that I've seen overseas that don't belong there...

OH! I saw a couple of FD2 Civic Type-Rs in Hong Kong back in January (those were never offered there, they had to be imported.)

And I met up with a CDM ITR owner in Taiwan last summer. He moved from Canada to Taiwan and imported his ITR with him.

I've seen a right hand drive Vauxhall Astra Wagon a few years back. It was sideswiped by a fox body mustang. A g65 with Kuwait plates and quite a few other vauxhalls and opels. I guess it must be the U.N. since I work a few blocks away

Prepare for domination via horrifically blurry pics. For such a restrictive state, California gets a lot of weird stuff on its roads (mainly due to proximity to the border and the larger population, I'm guessing).

These have all been spotted by me:

    German plates:

    Mondeo - Mexican plates:

    Random R33:

    Corsa (CA plates ):

    SsangYong Korrando:

    Lada 2107:

    Cappucino:

    Evo:

    German Beetle-truck, German plates:

    Renault Laguna (CA plates ):

    S15:

    R33 GTS25t:

    B5 RS4:

    RHD Integra:

    A-class:

    Astra:

    R32:

Another Korrando, this time a Daewoo:

    GAZ 21:

    Audi RS6:

    Mondeo wagon:

    TVR:

Peugeot 306 (this one eventually got CA plates as well ):

Toyota Crown Majesta (I think, can't remember):

    Nissan Pao:

I've got tons more but I'm tired and want to go home.

I've seen an Opel Zafira with diplomatic plates, an S-Class either from France, the Netherlands, or UK (It had a yellow rear euro plate), an Opel Insignia (the new one), and I've driven a euro-spec Fiesta here, from an actual Ford dealership, which was pretty neat.

I don't suppose the Gumball 3000 rally would count; When they roll around it turns the streets of Toronto into the UN.
