Decided to turn the clock waaaaaaay back and see what the first of the 40,000 messages in my Gmail inbox were. Turns out that one of the first e-mails (in 2004, invite-only Gmail, wo0t!) was someone sending me pics of my S13 from a Drift Day in early 2004.
Seeing how I don't have FB (and Google+ is worthless, and this would be embarrasing on LinkedIn), I have decided to share with TCL.
I honestly didn't remember it having this many friggin' stickers:
The stance kids of today can suck it and get off my lawn! Crooked stickers, mis-matched panels, +0 offset, camber and stupid stuff hanging off the tow hook more than 8 years ago.
And who could forget this gem from several years earlier (everyone who wasn't a member in 2002, that's who!):
Enough sharing, I feel old...

Why do you have 40k messages in your Gmail inbox?![]()
There are no old Porsches - just new owners.

Silvia badge. How very JDM yo of you.
No FriendFace? Seriously? How do you not dead?

Yes.
Especially if it came out of several Krylon cans ranging from beige to gold at 2am in a dimly lit garage.
I survive via Google+ (which is solely kept alive by Chapel and my cousin, who are both from MA, strangely) and LinkedIn (which is, it turns out, worthless). Wish to join links?
You failed to note the rare-because-it's-not-round Silvia trunk lock badge!

I just checked. I have 15,000 in my gmail, and I think I've had my account since the beginning.

You made me curious, the 2nd email in my gmail inbox is from 2/28/08, from my brother:
"This is the truck i am learning to drive. It is armour plated and it weighs 23 tons, designed to withstand anti tank mines- u use the boom on it to pick up roadside bombs. Its called the buffalo"

I've had my gmail since 04. My oldest email that wasn't from google was 10/19/04 and it was from Southeast Drift Association
The next oldest email is from an ex who was emailing me while I was in Japan.
I only have 1,462 messages in there, I did a mass cleanout a few years back

I remember seeing photos of Vad's rice rocket on vortex (no TCL back then) and thinking to myself that I would never want to meet this loser... I changed my mind later when I found out he had a Mercury Tracer. That's hardcore.
